Just bought a 2012 370Z red roadster, via a long road trip from the Whitsundays.  Just love the car the more I drive it. I have always loved Zeds, ever since I was a kid playing soccer and my coach bought a 260Z and took me for drive to game one Sat morning.  I also owned 260Z for about 12 years which I thoroughly restored.  No mods or anything else done etc my new plates. Keen on a new exhaust at some stage. I  Joined the Z club to learn more about the car, share stories etc and hopefully do the odd weekend drive with fellow members. Are there many Newcastle Zed owners out there…..

Cheers,

Rodd

Hi Rodd, Im in Newcastle and congrats on the purchase. I havent met many other Zed owners on this forum from Newie. You are in the right place if you want to learn more about the Zed as i have found being pretty much a novice. Cheers Harry Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Thanks Harry. I have seen a few Zeds getting around town. I might put the call out some time to see if many are interested in going for run somewhere, look as far as central coast, Hunter, possibly northern Syd etc. I was in the Syd Z car club some time ago, with my 260 and its pretty cool having a dozen or more Zeds traveling along in convey. It would not be until next year though as it's all starting to get busy this time of year.

Cheers,

Rodd

Sounds good. I also saw that you were enquiring about an CBE and HFC set up. Would like to hear that once its installed if possible as i currently have an Invidia CBE and am considering the HFCs. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

That's right, keen to do something like that. Still not sure about the HFC's though-some thread comments below:

Having had a Stillen CBE on its own and a Stillen + HFCs, I’d say a Stillen with stock cats would be a good option for a roadster

-To be honest though the stillen doesn’t need the hfc, especially with the roadster

-If you dont want constant loud humming or a loud exhaust in general, then stay away from the hfcs. There is a thread where some guys returned them to stock and couldnt be happier. They said the hfc just made the cabin that much more noisy and annoying.

Did you put the Invidia on after you bought your car? Happy with the improvement compared to stock?

Cheers, :)

Night and day between the two and in a good way. Where the stock sounds like a asthmatic broken lawn mower the Invidia has a nice rumble to it low down and opens up to a pleasant scream above 3500 - 4000 rpm. Titanium tips sit a little proud and are a bit gaudy but suit the style of the car so i dont mind. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
