New Speedo

I've seen prettier but at least shes accurate and readable. would eventually like to make up another bracket or find a better place to mount it so its not tilted like that but it works. Before this i was using one of those ones that reflect off the windshield but the steep rake of the glass made it a little blurry which annoyed me. gauge is an AUTOOL X-60 off ebay, connects to the OBD port, is programmable and can also be use to read and clear codes. shuts off automatically so it can be left plugged in with minimal drain. will see how it goes. Unfortunately its a lot dimmer than id like. Yes im in a KFC drivethrough XD

A Navdy might be an option for you if you want more accurate and readable Speedo that may look a little better and provide heaps more functionality (total control of audio streaming and email/txt messages from phone and GPS with traffic data from a jog dial mounted on the steering wheel so you don’t have to touch your phone at all). It also takes the feed direct from OBDII port so gives a more accurate speed. The company went silent all of a sudden (I suspect that one of the car manufacturers bought them out and took the technology and shut them down overnight) but there is a community on Reddit that have hacked the app (iOS and Android) and device firmware to keep its functionality at 100%. Just another possible option. Plenty on the web and YouTube about them and can snap them up on eBay for about $200 these days. beaa2741ff95f4a85a36216a437f0990.jpgdc84a3106498d573c035669dd14aee2c.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi Rodd, Im in Newcastle and congrats on the purchase. I havent met many other Zed owners on this forum from Newie. You are in the right place if you want to learn more about the Zed as i have found being pretty much a novice. Cheers Harry Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Hi Elvis, I know your post was from last year but did you ever settle on a CBE? I just bought a roadster and looking at doing something very similar shortly.

Just bought a 2012 370Z red roadster, via a long road trip from the Whitsundays.  Just love the car the more I drive it. I have always loved Zeds, ever since I was a kid playing soccer and my coach bought a 260Z and took me for drive to game one Sat morning.  I also owned 260Z for about 12 years which I thoroughly restored.  No mods or anything else done etc my new plates. Keen on a new exhaust at some stage. I  Joined the Z club to learn more about the car, share stories etc and hopefully do the odd weekend drive with fellow members. Are there many Newcastle Zed owners out there….. Cheers, Rodd

Thanks Bry I can't take credit though, previous owner put them on, one of the main reasons I bought this particular example!
