17s wouldn't fit over your brakes and 8.5 width will barely fill your guards. I run 20s on my 350Z and the front pair are 8.5's but they are a very low offset so they fill the front guards. My rears are 10" wide and I wouldn't go any narrower on a 370Z unless it's a very low offset. If you want to have a play around with wheels and tyre sizes to see what they look like, check out http://rimtuck.com/  Also I am on my 4th set of Achilles tyres and I reckon they're awesome!

Sounds like the usual dealer/spare parts bullshit runaround to me.  I contacted a dealer in Melb and asked for a price on the bumper and mentioned it was for a non-Nismo 370Z and was given a quote for the bumper, 2 lower moulds and the badge without a problem. If you're not happy with the response from your local dealer I'd call Nissan Customer Care (1800 035 035) or have another dealership order it for you and have it sent to your local dealer for pickup.

Hey there Z'dsters. Feeling annoyed.......... I'm loving the Nismo front end on the z'ds. I've searched online. checked out heaps of different styles and decided on a Stillen front end, i reckon they look absolutely sic on the front of a  z'd...... Looking further into it and pricing from the US it was radically expensive to buy and freight out here to the mid nth coast and paint. After a considerable amount of aganising, over thinking and head aches from thinking to much about Z'd front ends i decided to go with the Nismo front end off a Z'd which i can buy from a business in Queensland. Investigating further........ i find an after market place online that has heaps of different moulds and what do you know they have a Nissan Nismo front end in Duraflex or fibreglass moulds.  Happy as..... I investigate further and i'm reading horror stories from guys that have done the conversion. Nothing lines up......... A / m moulds don't fit oem parts on car etc etc. So i read on and i find a profiler's comment that say's order from Nissan dealer cause everything will line up and fit......... Makes sense right...... Now me being from the motor cycle racing world, i know first hand how much fitting after market moulds or fairing on a bike can be and its a massive pain in the arse. So i run with the idea and i'm contacting my local Nissan dealer......... I ask for spare parts and the guy answers the phone and away i go asking for a Nismo front apron. He says...... No i'm sorry, i'm told that you will have to contact a Nissan Nismo dealer........ and order.... Oh i say......Ok that's cool. So i ask him ........Is Suttons Nissan in Sydney a Nissan Nismo dealer. He asks his counterpart and i hear him say yes i think so. So i ring Suttons Nissan Chullora and i ask to purchase a Nismo front end..... Here is the annoying part. No I'm sorry Nismo parts are strictly for Nismo cars only.  GRRRRRRRR. WTH. So let me get this straight. You wont sell me a nissan genuine nismo product but yet i can buy a copy of it and have it delivered to my door and i get it anyway, it just doesnt say Nissan on it.......... What the hell Nissan Australia....... I'm annoyed and not a happy Nissan Z'd customer.

Hey there Z'dsters. So after reading all the comments about rim size and style, im now hesitant to change them. Its a lot of money out laid for something that could go horribly wrong. Firstly im not a lover of my 2012 rims... hence the reason for change. To be honest with you all, im now confused as hell and don't really no which way to turn. I find that im varying from the 19" because of the other styles and makes of rim that i like but are not made in a 19" . This Z'd is my first real nice car that is my baby as all of my vehicles have been high powered motorcycles so the Z'd relm is a learning curve to me. Ozzy tyres has two rims i'm considering, 1. is a 20" x 8.5 gloss black rim called ( pro drag PD1 ) now its a 8.5 inch width, which after researching can accomadate a tyre width from 225mm to 255mm. The 2nd rim im considering is a Vertini drift 19" x 8.5. colour to be decided. So after reading everyone's input i really am confused as to which way i should go and colour really. My Z'd is a 2012 Montery blue, and she is stock as a rock. Her shoe size's are.... Front: 245/40 x 19.    Rear: 275/35x19. They are Achilles tyres and i do not recommend, i find they are hopeless in the wet, crappy handling and helps the car understeer even more, and milage was lame and quite noisy........ Anyway................. So wheel and tyre package is needed for my baby girl...... So in your opinion guyz do you think the 20" rims a waste of money for the Z'ds. And would you consider 17 / 18" deep dish rims and why. would it cause complications being a smaller wheel etc etc. if you guys and gals don't mind.......... Some proper education on this matter would be seriously appreciated. Thanks Z'dsters. Dman.

Hey fellaz, forgot about this thread.   My install is complete finally! Lets just say this is not a real RHD kit. I am pretty dissapointed in AAM claiming it is RHD.   Don't get me wrong the quality of the kit is excellent, but the amount of modifications/fab work it needed to fit our RHD car was insane! My install bill was huge because of it! Same with the other 2 AAM RHD kits i know of that was installed around Australia and UK.   Save yourself the cash, and buy a RevZone TT kit for 16K installed and tuned. The amount I spent to get the AAM kit fitted is enough to build a forged engine! I kind of lost respect for AAM now for telling us it is a RHD kit. 😠
