i just clicked the first link - there might be some cheaper but mine looks exactly like this with both RCA and 3.5mm outputs

How’s the sound quality though? Compared to be being a straight plug-in to the RCA Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

you know, ive never actually connected straight into the RCA - that has never been an option - i refuse to plug in and unplug my phone every time i get in and out of the car so regardless of any quality difference it hasnt been worth testing because its not something im prepared to do. what I can tell you it sounds good, im not getting any discernable digital signal or ground loop noise....im happy. Before plugging it into the 370 this same module was being used as a receiver for my old home stereo and it sounded good connected to that as well so thats what gave me the idea of trying it in the car. As nice as it sounds, sadly it doesnt sound as good as the stereo in my old 350Z but from what ive read on here thats accurate. nissan kinda went backwards on the 370.

To be honest, 370zs are so noisy while driving, sound quality isnt really an issue. The noise from the car is so loud that you would lose any of the delicate notes from anything playing on even the best sound system. The Coolstream Duo/Navdy combination is working brilliantly now since some very intelligent people have hacked the Navdy firmware and App since the company disappeared. Works with voice recognition and also has a steering wheel mounted jog dial which works nicely. Literally the best option out there that I have seen. You just need to upgrade to the latest software for everything to work. Lookup Navdy on reddit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Slight change of topic, but also related to the topic at hand. I’ve been able to make a little mount of the 370z to store a Samsung TabA 8.0 tablet. For bluetooth streaming I bought a USB type receiver that needs power from the 12V socket. It has an AUX port on the back which you can plug an AUX to RCA cable into the RCA ports in the car. I still get all my steering wheel controls to work for volume and such, obviously not for changing songs. 7349f4d6291d634054da4456a18e977b.jpgI haven’t had any issues with this bluetooth streaming at all. If you use your phone solely, it can sometimes get confused when phone calls come into play. Meaning, when a phone call comes through whilst playing music, it will go through the car, but then change to the bluetooth receiver. Sometimes annoying. Otherwise with the tablet, the streaming quality has been very sharp and not a problem at all. It connects straight away every time i get into the car without touching your phone. As for the tablet mount, you will need to stick it to the inside of the “cubby hole/GPS area” with either magnets or double sided tape. Easy install and when youre not using the tablet, the mount doesn’t get in the way of the OEM screen either. 84b3ff471cc2eec616e3d734a65ab087.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New Kids on the Block is my favourite pop-band of 90s. NKOTB had so many hits! The ones I remember are 'Tonight', 'Baby, I Believe In You' and their hit 'Step By Step'. These are real songs, not fake ones like today! And it is sooo good they have a tour in 2019! So I'm going to attend their concert this year. The full list is here: New Kids on the Block tour Pittsburgh. Click on it and maybe we can even visit one of the concerts together!

    • Custom y-pipe and cat combination, I need help!
      By richiez · Posted
Hey guys I need some help. I bought this car second hand, it has some work done to it but I'm unsure on the details. I'm trying to get a CBE for my car so I thought I'd look underneath. I know part of the exhaust have been replaced since it got sold to the dealership. It looks like the ypipe and cat are a one piece set up? And looks nothing like the stock stuff. What is this pipe? Is it custom? I'm guessing I can only buy a y-back exhaust at this stage unless I buy a CBE and a cat. Thanks!http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5cb9a7deea9ce/YouCut_20190419_204915267.mp4 Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Hey mate I recently had a similar issue.  I ended up getting the NDS III app on my phone and did the idle 're learn but mine was not as bad as what you're describing.  I pulled an injector to try it to 're learn etc but idled around 700 rpm.
    • Write off advice

Hi All, I am new to the forums so it is very nice to meet you all and apologies if I am posting in the wrong section. Recently my 370z (2010 convertible auto) has been hit in the back and after a month of assessments and deliberations the insurance company decided it will be a write off due to high costs of repair needed for a full chassis rebuild in the rear. Now they have given me two options: 1 - Take the market value of 23k minus 1.6k of outstanding insurance payments for the period. So about 21.4k. 2 - Go through the other party's insurer, receive 23k - 3k salvage fee and keep the car. So 20k plus the car, which will not be roadworthy anymore. Could I ask for some of your advice, especially if you faced a similar situation in the past? Is it worth keeping the car with 20k, would I be able to sell it for parts or sell it as a whole? It's in a very good condition (minus the chassis and rear damage obviously), engine has done 94k and never had any problems.   Thank you very much for your advice in advance!!!
    • Passenger Seat Sensor
      By BlueZ · Posted
Hello all, Well it's been a few years but It's good to see this forum is still up and running.  I notice the old Speedo thread is still active :-) So, I was driving with my wife today and she noticed that the seat belt warning didn't go off when she took of the belt as we pulled into the driveway.  I assume that it's the seat sensor.  It doesn't worry me too much but I'm wondering if it will affect the air bags.  Will they go off if it thinks there's no one in the seat? Thanks
