Uprev question (Modes)

Hey guys,

My Z is tuned with Uprev. I know you can change modes using the cruise control button by pressing it down and pressing the cancel buttons X times for the modes. My question is, what modes correspond to what? What are the differences between modes?

Thanks in advance

Hi Mo, u have up rev also. My understanding but please don't quote me, is that there is the ability for 5 different tuning maps to select from. But these have to be tuned and put in. As far as I know, one map was tuned on the Dyno and that's the map the car runs off. Not sure I want to spend the coin, or have the need for other maps. Could have other maps for diff fuels etc I believe. Hope that helps

Ok, so if I understand you correctly, changing to the other maps does nothing and only map 1 has a tune in it?

I think I changed to whatever is in map 2 or 3's position by mistake the other day, because the car definitely felt odd. I should probably ask Brad

Its depends on how the tune was set up, my maps are as follows:

1. 98 octane

2. 91 octane

3. Valet (3000rpm limit)

4. Spare

5. Security (Can't start engine)

    • P0011 Code (2012 370Z)
      By Trent Bray · Posted
Anybody have experience with the error code P0011? car is currently with the mechanic...unable to find an actual issue everything is checking out and few things been checked/ replaced but car is still not running right. Initial easier fixes through troubleshooting or stripping it down to access the gasket behind (unsure if it was the galley gasket) are yet to get it going, timing, valves, actuators etc. seem fine as checked once pulled apart a bit... mechanic said he had one or two more things to try then may have to get it to Nissan dealer. Could it be a simpler fix they have overlooked like oil pressure/ filter? but assuming they had already gone their through process of elimination..
    • 370z soft top replacement

Hi guys. I bought a 370 roadster recently and when i was checking it out i noticed a little tear starting. i didnt think much of it because my 350 soft top replacement was pretty straight forward, there was plenty of DIY literature and the tops were all over ebay. Now i own the thing, i went looking to buy a replacement top and....err....no literature and next to nothing available. crap. Help? Suggestions? Cheers!

Video would be great if you get the chance. If you are ever in the Newcastle area and have a few minutes let me know as i would like to hear it in person. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

I don't but I'll try and see if I can get some (bit hard to find a spot where you can rev it without any dramas)

I would suggest listening in person though, exhaust videos hardly ever show you properly (due to variation in position of cameras etc) besides a rough idea of the tone.
