Hi all. The name's Finn. I just picked up a 370z that was written off by hail in NSW which I am going to use for drifting. The hail damage had been repaired and the car is in excellent condition. However it can never be registered again. Such a shame.

However it meant I got it for a steal.

It won't be your average stripped out bare bones drifter. I plan on keeping all luxuries.

Its got a Nismo kit and exhaust. As well as an AAM long intake. I just won some Nismo Z wheels on Yahoo Japan and I want to buy the evo-r high wing currently for sale on here. Just need to get my post count up. I also ordered some MCA Type X coils yesterday.

Here's how it will look very soon...

I'm wondering if the previous owner of the car was ever on this forum. Would love to know a bit more about it's history.

So far I know it used to have the number plates DUB STP

Does anyone recognise that?

Welcome Finn!

I saw this on sale a couple of months ago for the bargain price.

It would be good to find out more about its history.

Good luck with it and keep us posted!

:)

Hi all, Thanks for the add. I've just purchased my 1st 370Z and absolutely love it. Quality car, quality performance. Looking forward to seeing everyone's Z cars.

Start off small, go catback exhaust like invidia which is quite popular around here. I personally have a motordyne catback, and for the system itself, it is usually plenty deep and loud! If you do find yourself at one of the next car meets, swing by and have a listen to what exhaust tone you like. Moving forward with headers and test pipes like the US Z community do, they do tend to go over the db limit here in AUS, as well as become deafening whilst driving. It’s not like people dont so it, but it’s not tolerable for most. I would also encourage you to fit the catback yourself, it really isnt that hard and you save some cash installing it yourself! It’s only a couple of 12-14mm nuts and bolts and youre golden. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
