Was at the gym this am (I know, sad) in Perth city (Victoria & Terrace) and saw a blue 370 (Rego ending 120) and a orange 350 (?) with custom plates MIVA - ??. Funny how the Z's are more prominent nowadays :)

Keep spotting a couple of 350Z's in the CANDLEWOOD area of Joondalup.

1 is a light blue 350Z Roadster 03-06 model track

The other is a burnt orange 350Z Coupe 03-06 model track

Anyone that's found there way on here? Next time I've got cards on me, i'll hand one over

Last night on Grand Boulavard in Joondalup, spied a kitted yellow 350Z hard top that I often see in the area, and tailed it to upthe hill towards candlewood. I was in the wifes falcon though :(

Anyone that's joined up already?

Ah cool!!! See you at the cruise on the 5th hey :D Come say hello as I'm shit with names/faces.

Saw that yellow Z AGAIN the other day as I was coming home in the roadster. Lives near me so it's only a matter of time before I'll have chance to hand over a forum card :D

Both gave a wave so seems like a friendly chap.

Haha.... I really like what you wrote. I remember now, you were at the front of me, I just came out from T5 and we stopped at the lights. Hey since we're so close we should meet up.

Your memory serves you well ;) That is EXACTLY how we were staggered

...and yes we should. Think I might invite a few Zedders round in the new year for a pool party and BBQ or something. Nothing too big or random as I'm a family man.

Was driving next to a Titanium 370z yesterday on Guildford Road in Maylands around 5:30pm.

The guy looks to be in his 50s in a business shirt. Didn't get to wave cos had to stop. I guess it won't be anyone here.

Wonder if it is the same car in East Perth.

If it is a stock Quartz in East Perth then there is a fair chance that is me! Personalised plates?

I actually haven't seen a Quartz around WA yet. I have seen White Z driven by a lady, brilliant silver at the Joondalup IGA driven by a teenager and a Titanium with the Giant Nissan number plate frame parked at Mullaloo beach recently. And when I was in Macao saw a Z mod.

    • Offset for Wheels to clear Brembos
      By Punked · Posted
I think you are both a little confused. Lower offsets wheels (wheels closer to outside or poke from guard) will generally give you more brake clearance. However, some high offset wheels (wheels more sunken from outside of guard) will clear too. Hugely depends on the wheel/spoke shape and design. The factory wheels are 18x8+30 (or close?) and clear Brembo brakes but many aftermarket wheels in those specs will not clear. I run 19x10+15 and 19x11+15 on my 350Z and they clear by a mile. The same wheel as mine in a 18x8+20 probably wouldn't clear... You really need to try some wheels on your car....you will find many of the Japanese wheels are made to clear larger brakes (not always though)... https://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator# this is the best for fitment- won't help with your clearance issue though. If I remember correctly there was a recall here in Aus as well but only for certain series of that part number. I would demand to talk to the dealer principal rather than some service monkey that knows nothing but how to extract cash from loyal customers and demand the part be replaced (possibly costing labour which is fair) for a known faulty part that was subject to a nationwide recall. Search this forum for more info on the recall. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Ummmm !! Experienced the 'No start' and the orange key light.  2012 model 370Z. Tried the hammer trick, tried it again and again and again and eventually it released. Leave the accessory light on and removed the fuse. Car starts OK now. Quote from Nissan for a new ESCL(electronic Steering Control Lock) is $1,580.13 plus GST plus labour.

Contact your local clutch specialist If you need to replace the flywheel that will really hurt - aftermarket flywheels are cheaper but also make unpleasant noise
    • Nismo front end.

The last few times ive called nissan dealers, they’ve asked for the part numbers (being nismo or non-nismo) and they didnt have an issue selling me those parts. I did decline cause for a set of 2012 nismo wheels ended up costing 2k a wheel ?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
