ECU Remap

So after talking with Majestik the other day he tells me there are a few of us that want to do this.

I have just purchased UpRev and this is the platform that my remap will be based on.

There is a lot more involved with what i'm about to do but I am unable to say anything yet.

All I can say at this time is that I've been working on this for the last two weeks and I have some real time map data from my car over this time.

Once I receive my gear I will update you guys and document the process.

Hey Kain

I'm very interested in your results. Great work.

Do you know if that remap allows for the throttle response to be changed?

Yes it does, I also looked at a throttle response controller which also looked really good but the remap should be nearly as good.

Excellent! Can't wait to see the result Matt. You should dyno your car pre and post to see what gain from the UpRev.

I thought I'd better status update this one as well, the order has been paid for and my goods should be on their way.

The next update will be when I have them in my hands and the process is about to begin.

Which Uprev package did you buy?

I brought the Tuner Package as this will become the base of my custom ecu tune.

The goods have already be sent so I'll be able to release more details soon.

Did you buy direct from uprev? Make sure they send you a decoded version of the adm 370z ecu base map. Hehehe, that's my map

That's strange because they told me and a couple of other members that they don't have an ecu from an Australian car, I have to send them mine. Then once they crack it they can start to sell it here.

U buy direct? I'm pretty sure jerrad or jerod already has a decoded one because he did it for me lol

Edit

It might ve right because the license could be on the ecu, but from what I know the individual license should be on the cable

I'm not sure, I gave them my VIN number and they said the don't have one, so I have to send them mine.

I am fairly sure pommy and aussie are the same. I have a pommy map in mine and it works "rather well".

They aren't 100% the same, so I'm told but a lot closer than the US.

They need a cracked ECU that is in the batch, that's why there is a few people that have contacted UpRev and they couldn't bu it yet.

Onve they have. Cracked ECU the UpRev tunes for the UK will work fine in our cars.

I placed an order on Abbey motorsports in the UK for Uprev and they have told me to wait for a ECU map they are about to receive from someone in Aus who has purchased the tuner version

Is this you by any chance?

cheers

Well I can't comment on 370 as mine is a 350 but in the VQ35HR 350Z it is the same part number.

Have you done yours or you want to do it?

If you want to do I think you'll also be interested when I'm done.

Already done. There is a thread on it in the 350 area.

Today I drove to Gladstone and back, 600km +/- average 12.2 km/l

I have done the trip may time before but never got better than 10.5 km/l

Fuel BP 98, av speed (enough); max speed, (never more than 100mph, I mean km/h)

Cool, not sure what I'll get but we will see very soon.

    • Recently purchased a 370Z have some questions
      By andrewfranze9991 · Posted
Hi guys recently purchased a 2010 370Z absolutely love the car, but run into a couple things I need answers for. 1. The car come with a quick release steering wheel and because the wheel is not factory the vdc, slip, abs and airbag light is on. Is there anyway I can sort this out I want vdc on when normal driving? 2. Because of the issue in the first question I attempted to swap the factory steering wheel over. ( was tuning the wheels a fair bit while the car was off ) anway when I turned the car back on the power steering made a grinding noise, and feels very heavy ever since, seems to get heavy after hard driving. And my last question is the clutch, I’m not sure if it how it is but seems very fragile, for example a couple clutch kicks in 2nd gear it will just slip instead of grabbing not sure if all the clutches are weak like that. But yeah if anyone can help me out on some of this questions would be appreciated cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Holy thread revival batman but it's not just about offset, it's about x-factor. 350Z's with Brembo brakes need wheels with a minimum 55mm brake x-factor to clear
