We are looking for Moderators/Event Managers for each state for Zclub.

Hi Everybody,

I thought it'll be a great idea to get everybody involved with some of the changes that will be occurring to our club.

The first will be to decide on who - besides current Moderators - would like to take a little bit more of a hands on role (Evan you dirty dirty man). This role will allow that member an opportunity to not only become a Moderator on this site but also the main point of contact in organising cruises in their state.

My hope is to have at least one key member per state as a Moderator and/or Events Organiser.

I also hope to have at least 2 of the most Tech knowledgable amongst us to be Moderators in the 350Z/370Z tech sections of th forum.

Any and all ideas - positive and negative - will be much appreciated on this topic.

I am also happy to have personal PM's received if you would like to discuss this on a one-on-one scenario.

There are so many of you here that are not only regular 'voices' on this forum, but are also enthusiatic and dedicated to keeping our community strong.

I personally know which of you I would like to get on board these role(s), but I would also like the community as a whole to have a say :)

So what are you waiting for?? Volunteer or Recommend!

Is admin and mod the same thing? I know I've currently got 350Z Tech admin access. Happy to put my hand up for WA Mod/Event Organiser

Tech knowlegde isn't the "best" but sure isn't the worst either lol.

But meh, whatever you guys and the forum members think best.

EDIT: Whoops just re-read my own title lol "WA and 350z Moderator"

in that case, happy to step things up in terms of events organising. Works been crazy busy since I took a contract in the city and that runs till the end of the year, but as I find my feet in that, I'm sure I'll be able to get back to Forum addiction lol

I'd be interested in doing this for Tassie. Not sure how many are on here from Tassie and I do have ties with other clubs in Tas.

Hi Guys,

It is great to see so many people post/PM their interest to me! Thank you all for your interest and passion! :)

As our community is still relatively 'small', it has been agreed that will will begin our baby steps forward by only having a small team of administrators.

Please join me in welcoming - Gazza (Sunshine Coast), Ugame (Perth) & Kiz (Sunnybank) to their new/update responsibilities as 'Super Moderators'!

For those who have volunteered to organise cruises & meets, myself or the admin team will contact you soon to help you out with organising these 'fun runs'.

Ronnie.

'Super' Moderator eh? Awesome stuff Ronnie, thanks. I hope Gazza can take the reins as a QLD events organiser as I'm not much chop in that department (every Sunday is pre-booked for 2-wheel terrorism unless it's raining).

    • Engine light coming on too frequently
      By Newby101 · Posted
Hey guys.  Was hoping anyone would be able to help me out here.  I recently bought a 2009 370z Auto about 6 weeks ago. Since then, I’ve had to get it serviced 8 times due to the check engine light coming on.  I’ve had all the Oxy sensor and MAF’s replaced and the light still comes on. Whatever is causing it is also making the cars acceleration lag a bit.  Its getting beyond a joke now. I picked it up yesterday morning and by the afternoon the light was on.    Has as anyone had a similar issue // have any ideas to check for??   thanks
    • Solenoids either side under bonnet/hood latches – what are they?
      By IanzZed · Posted
Hi Ausmo they are pyrotechnic solenoids. if you hit a pedestrian ( or anything hard) , they fire off and lift the bonnet up at the back to help cushion the impact of said pedestrian. there are sensors in the front of the car that sense when something hits the front hard enough.
    • Programming key fob
      By Button1 · Posted
For the record I have a 2003 Nissan 350z Australian delivery and I have successfully programmed a new key fob for the car after sorting out two issues. 1. The original remote I had operated at 315Mz frequency which I was let to believe would work on my car.  After having no success I purchased the 433Mz European version of the key fob and this turned out to be the correct one. 2. There are at least 3 different methods to program 350z key fobs depending on the cars country of delivery eg. USA, UK, Japan.  The one that works for Australian cars is described as Method A in the attached instructions.  Unlike the USA & UK cars the hazard lights do not flash during the programming steps.  To programme do this - 1. Close both doors. 2. Both doors must be locked using the small rocker switch near the door handle. 3. Insert the key into the ignition 5 times within 10 secs and remove. 4.  Quickly insert the key again and the doors will unlock. 5. Turn the key to the accessories position (not the on position). 6. Quickly lock both doors again using the small rocker switch near the door handle. 7. Press the unlock button on your key fob and both doors should unlock indicating the key fob is programmed. 8. Repeat steps 6 & 7 for additional key fobs. 9. Remove the key from the ignition and all of your key fob should now be programmed and lock/unlock the car. Note: I did have trouble with the timing of these steps.  I found that unless step 5 & 6 were done quickly the car would not recognise the key fob at step 7. I hope this helps someone.
    • Wiring for Audio in a 2004
      By victord683 · Posted
Hi folks   I am putting in Pioneer Z5250BT head unit in my 2004. When I was removing  the 10 pin plug from the factory Bose unit it came apart and all the wires went everywhere (Shit!) . I thought it could too complicated to put them back in order.  When I have looked at other sites  to work this out the wiring they refer to doesn't match the colours that are in wiring harness.    I have the following wires   orange, red, Grey, Blue/White (larger wire which I assume is main power), red/blue, white, pink/black, Green. There is also a small Blue/White wire on a single plug. There is a separate line Green/white which is with the antenna and I can assume is for the power antenna. I need to know what these wires are and where they go on the 10 in plug. I have the Aeropro wire harness to plug into the 10 pin plug. I just need to get them in the right order,. Can anyone help?    Thanks
