Tyre of choice for the most comfy ride? Michelin wins?

Curious to know what you might suggest for a more comfortible ride with less emphasis on handling. Old buggers like myself tend to look lovingly at a car which doesn't want to rip your spine out of your body. I've tried Bridgestone RE001's and Kumho Ku36's and now I am riding on Michelin Pilot Super Sports and am loving them dearly. I am finding that, compared to the other two, they are much quieter while still providing exxcellent grip. And yes, they feel nicer on the road. running 275/35/zr19 up the back.

Feel free to add your thoughts. For me, the Michelin's are superb.

Agree with your comments re Michelin Pilot Super Sports.  I'ver been using them for a few years now and find the improved quietness, ride, mileage and grip much superior to the standard Bridgestones.

Have just this week replaced my Super Sports with the Pilot Sport 4S (not to be confused with the cheaper PS4), which is the newer, upgraded tyre.  Will be curious to see how they go.  Initial impressions (after 500 kms) seem very positive.

I have just bought the Pilot sport 4, did not really know about the 4s. Anyway they still get a good review so I will see how I go

Start off small, go catback exhaust like invidia which is quite popular around here. I personally have a motordyne catback, and for the system itself, it is usually plenty deep and loud! If you do find yourself at one of the next car meets, swing by and have a listen to what exhaust tone you like. Moving forward with headers and test pipes like the US Z community do, they do tend to go over the db limit here in AUS, as well as become deafening whilst driving. It’s not like people dont so it, but it’s not tolerable for most. I would also encourage you to fit the catback yourself, it really isnt that hard and you save some cash installing it yourself! It’s only a couple of 12-14mm nuts and bolts and youre golden. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
