  4. Morjo added a post in a topic MY10 and MY11 question

I was also confused....Purchased a 2011 MY10 then read an article on the 2011 model with standard reversing Camera, other bits and pieces and some sort or "REV" switch for the engine.

    :-( Damn it!

    Hi,

I recently purchased a wireless camera from Bangkok for $80 (could of probably got it for $50 or $60) but i was too tired to barter after a full day shopping :-).

Anyway, I quickly connected the camera receiver to the Aux port to see if it works and surprisingly it did! The picture is quite clear during the day and although I was told the camera works at night i am quite skeptical and yet to test it out.

I have attached a few photos of the components and listed specs....nothing too great but its cheap and cable free!

My main objective was to find a camera which i could hopefully install myself with the minimal amount of work (feeding cables through) which was quick and still looked good. Once i test the cam at night will let you know how it goes.

You mentioned: "that prevent us using our AUX port while the car is in motion to display a picture" I was not aware of this :-(

Also I'm not sure if its required but was thinking of putting in a 500mA inline fuse if i decide to use this cam....any thoughts?
