BlueZed added a post in a topic How to replace stupid broken cup holder on 03 350Z
Thank you very very much for this thread. After almost 10 years I finally have a functional cup holder by purchasing an assembly from Japan and installing it today. The large spring at the rear had popped over the stop and was preventing the assembly from sliding out. This guide was a great help.

Custom Steering WheelGot in touch with someone called Jon (in Queensland) through Ebay when I missed a sale for a custom 350Z steering wheel. A good thing since it had red accents and I have a Daytona Blue 2003 Track. After a couple of messages we agreed that I would send him a second hand OEM wheel which he would take to Thailand on his Christmas holiday.
A factory there transformed it and it is superb. This was about six months in the making and worth the wait. Apart from my paying the agreed price I have no financial link to Jon but offer this post to anyone who would like something similar.
DM me and I'll provide Jon's number. He is planning a return trip in six months.
I painted the silver bits to match some other bits I had painted. You can select any colour.

Back to your original question: I have a Backvue dr650gw-1ch and I recommend it. I have used it for recording a track day https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eTjVHFtvTw
and it also saved me from this idiot when he crossed the centre line while I was overtaking him. It recorded his verbal abuse and physical threats after our cars slightly touched.
I have the mount in both of my cars and transfer the camera unit as required. I suggest you purchase a Micro SD card reader to transfer to your PC because the adapter supplied is awful.
Hope this helps

The possible choices for the poll seem to imply that if you are 20 years old ... you cannot own a Zed.

Door Sash (Lock Pillar Finish) - Carbon Fibre WrapThose plastic strips just above the door handles. One of mine has some extensive scratches and I would like to cover them both in carbon fibre wrap.
Can anyone please advise how to remove them or direct me to the correct section of the workshop manual?
Has anyone done something similar and can explain the process?
The wrap requires a heat gun and I am loathe to use one so close to the paint work should I try to do it with the plastic strips in situ.
Thanks.

Update. I have acquired a workshop manual for the 350Z and that bolt is called a 'special pin' and is only on the front. Apparently the temporary wheel has a hole to accommodate the pin but I was not lining it up correctly. Who knew?
