Guys to be completely honest I really am not a big fan of these, in my opinion, weak performance based cheap sports cars.
Yeah sure toyota/subaru have made it as a affortable 30-40k budget priced sports car, but thats where the line is drawn & finishes,
beacuse thats all it is, just a cheap budget sportscar with absoulutely no guts of performance, very poor straight line performance,
looks that give the impression that it's meant to be a girls sportscar not a guy's & sure it handles decently due to it's lightweight, but
in saying that the 350z/370z handles just as good if not better in my opinion, because of their low centre of gravity design, weight distribution & engineering, just look at lap times, stats & absolutely obliterates it in a straight line, 370z-245kw/350z-206,221,230kw depending on year of model, as apposed to a pissy 145kw, & really the two cannot be compared because the 370z is on a whole different level above, as well as the 350z being a level above the 86/brz too & quite frankly i'd take a 350z in good condition with low km's for the same price, if not cheaper. Also someone commented about the price gap of the two cars being 30k, and spending that to make up the difference of performance for the 86/brz to match the 370z, well to be fair with a few bolt on mods to a 350z, it would make a good amount of power quicker and more reliably than force inducting a 86/brz, while still staying N/A, now imagine if you force inducted the 350z, the numbers & results would be far out of reach of what the 86/brz could accomplish, remember the saying ''there's no replacement for dispalcement''. Now look it's not bad what toyota/subaru have done with this car, bringing it in as a budget priced sports car, but I just think it's been more hyped up than what it should of, now brand new or not there's plenty of other sports cars that represent better value for money that I would pick over these cars, any day of the week!!!!
Thanks. Good to know man, what area? Yeah got some nice mods like Haltech platinum ecu tune, full exhaust system, extracters, cam's, cold air intake & throttle body. It's awesome!!! You should come to the meet up next thursday at sydney olympic park i'm bringing my car there!!
