1. Disconnect the battery for 30mins and try again with an oem steering wheel 2. Check power steering fluid and/or replace it 3. Just dont clutch kick it, the clutch is probably on it’s way out. This isnt an s15 brother.

Being 20 when i got my Z. I did loose my license so that definetly doesnt help my case even now 2 years later. Insurance wise I have done the same as you and gone with APIA (yes my dad is over 50 so it helps). In terms of maintenance, the platform is quite solid. The Americans complain about alot cause they expect alot from nothing. Go into the car with an open mind and you’ll love it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

370Cal added a post in a topic Suggestions on Exhaust
Start off small, go catback exhaust like invidia which is quite popular around here. I personally have a motordyne catback, and for the system itself, it is usually plenty deep and loud! If you do find yourself at one of the next car meets, swing by and have a listen to what exhaust tone you like. Moving forward with headers and test pipes like the US Z community do, they do tend to go over the db limit here in AUS, as well as become deafening whilst driving. It’s not like people dont so it, but it’s not tolerable for most. I would also encourage you to fit the catback yourself, it really isnt that hard and you save some cash installing it yourself! It’s only a couple of 12-14mm nuts and bolts and youre golden. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

370Cal added a post in a topic 2010 370z Bluetooth Music Stream
Slight change of topic, but also related to the topic at hand. I’ve been able to make a little mount of the 370z to store a Samsung TabA 8.0 tablet. For bluetooth streaming I bought a USB type receiver that needs power from the 12V socket. It has an AUX port on the back which you can plug an AUX to RCA cable into the RCA ports in the car. I still get all my steering wheel controls to work for volume and such, obviously not for changing songs. I haven’t had any issues with this bluetooth streaming at all. If you use your phone solely, it can sometimes get confused when phone calls come into play. Meaning, when a phone call comes through whilst playing music, it will go through the car, but then change to the bluetooth receiver. Sometimes annoying. Otherwise with the tablet, the streaming quality has been very sharp and not a problem at all. It connects straight away every time i get into the car without touching your phone. As for the tablet mount, you will need to stick it to the inside of the “cubby hole/GPS area” with either magnets or double sided tape. Easy install and when youre not using the tablet, the mount doesn’t get in the way of the OEM screen either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The last few times ive called nissan dealers, they’ve asked for the part numbers (being nismo or non-nismo) and they didnt have an issue selling me those parts. I did decline cause for a set of 2012 nismo wheels ended up costing 2k a wheel ?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thats basically what sort of setup id want to go tbh, still looks really smart and nothing ridiculously low for street driving. Have you done any spirited driving yet? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
